In 1999, Jon Hohle, with the help of a partner, created his first animated short. This short was animated at six frames per second (6fps) to save on time and harddrive space. 6fps was such a clever name, that it was kept, and is still being used today.

Currently 6fps is working on effects and animations for Denali, and independent digital feature. These effects range anwhere from adding snow elements or animated computer screens to complete actor removal and CG character replacement. This project is in the latter ends of pre-production and principal photography should begin 4th quarter of 2001, with principal effects work to begin 1st quarter 2002. Despite the name, these effects will be done at a full 30fps or 5X6fps

6fps is dedicated to matching production style with the project. Though run by one person, 6fps is an all encompassing digital content creator, including everything from editing and effects to web design/programming and promotional material and even software solutions.
